BY SUBMITTING THIS FORM, YOU ARE AGREEING TO ALL OF THE COMMITMENTS REQUIRED FOR THIS PRODUCTION. PLEASE, CAREFULLY, READ THE COMMITMENTS STATED IN THE AUDITION GUIDELINES PACKET regarding REHEARSAL AND PERFORMANCE ATTENDANCE, CODE OF CONDUCT, PRODUCTION FEE, Adult VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS, AND TICKET SALE REQUIREMENTS. Audition Dates and Times:

Vocal Auditions: Friday, January 24th - 4:00 - 9:00pm &

Saturday, January 25th - 9:00 - 12:00pm (by appointment)

Tap Auditions (optional): Saturday, January 25th - 1:00 - 3:00pm

for those with experience in tap and interested in being a tapper for this show, you will be required to attend this audition. not required for non tappers.

Dance Auditions: Sunday, January 26th - 2pm - 4:00pm (group audition)

*Sunday, 2:00 - 2:20pm Mandatory Info Meeting for auditioners and parents of minors!

Callbacks: Sunday, January 26th - 4:15 - 10:00pm (invitation only - end time will vary)

To be considered for the show, interested applicants must participate in both vocal and dance auditions. Anyone interested in a lead role must be available for callbacks as well.

For experienced tappers who want to be considered for tap dance roles. This audition is not required for those not interested/experienced in tap.

Rehearsal Schedule Conflicts

Please refer to the Audition Guideline packet for a more specific rehearsal schedule! Performances for the HIU/Spero PPA Spring Musical are April 4-12 (4 matinees and 5 evening performances). All cast members are required to be at all performances. Rehearsals will take place on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays (specific times will vary, see the Audition Guidelines packet for more info). Regular weekly rehearsals will run January 30th - April 3. Not all cast members will necessarily be required to attend all rehearsals. A more specific call schedule will be provided once the show is cast. The final week of rehearsals prior to the first performance is our Tech Week and will require all cast members to attend rehearsals every evening.

Commitment Agreements

By submitting this form, you agree that you have read through the Audition Packet and you agree to the commitments required for this production. Please select "I agree" in the box under the applicable agreements below. Select N/A in the boxes that do not apply. This serves as your digital agreement to the commitments stated.

HIU Student Agreement

By submitting this form, I commit to be in attendance at all scheduled rehearsals and ALL tech/dress rehearsals and performances for the Spring 2025 musical production. I understand that, if given a role in the show, absences are not allowed unless pre-approved in an agreement between myself and the directors. Exceptions will be made, to a reasonable degree, for illness or emergency situations. I also understand that excessive absences may result in my being asked not to participate in the production. I also agree to work 10 hours as needed outside of normal rehearsal time on sets, costumes, or other show preparation. I commit to either sell at least 10 tickets to my friends and family, or choose to pay a $100 production fee instead.

Spero Student/Child age 8-18, Parent, & Other Adult Agreement

By submitting this form, I commit to be in attendance at all scheduled rehearsals and ALL tec/dress rehearsals and performances for the Spring 2025 musical production. I understand that, if given a role in the show, absences are not allowed unless pre-approved in an agreement between myself and the directors. Exceptions will be made, to a reasonable degree, for illness or emergency situations. I also understand that excessive absences may result in my being asked not to participate in the production. I will be on time to all rehearsals and performances.

Parent/Guardian Agreement:

By submitting this form, I agree to assist my child in following through on their commitment to this production. I also agree to volunteer as per the parent volunteer commitment agreement, and to sell at least 10 tickets to friends and family. I understand there is a $200 production fee for my child to participate, and that there are payment plans available.
