Spero PPA Apprenticeship Program

The mission of our apprenticeship position is to create a space for 11th-12th graders to gain experience in leadership through relationships with peers and younger students that can be applied in their day to day lives. Leadership skills such as: interpersonal communication, time management, team leading, creativity, active listening, empathy, and flexibility. We believe the theater is a space not only for performing but where we can all learn to be the best versions of ourselves and where we can learn valuable skills.  Apprentices assist group leaders and camp directors in class rotations, games, and snack time. They are expected to be patient, encouraging, and practice being good examples to younger students. This is an excellent opportunity to practice listening, patience, and collaboration.
